Chef Malcolm Lee welcomes Chef Pim Techamuanvivit of nahm at COMO Metropolitan Bangkok for a ‘one evening-only’ coming together of Peranakan and Thai cuisines.

The chefs will offer a selection of their signature dishes and new creations, including nahm’s favourites such as Miang of Lobster, Chicken, Green Mango, Snake Fruit and Herbs Served on Betel Leaves and Blue Swimmer Crab Southern Yellow Curry with Betel Leaves and Calamansi. Candlenut’s dishes will include the Coconut Smoked Buah Keluak Mackerel and Prawn Otah and Kühlbarra Ocean Barramundi Fillet, Masak Merah, Kaffir Lime Leaf.

About Chef Pim Techamuanvivit 
Chef Pim heads up the kitchen at nahm at COMO Metropolitan Bangkok. A Bangkok native, Chef Pim launched her first restaurant ‘Kin Khao’ in San Francisco, which received its first Michelin star the following year. Chef Pim attributes her cuisine to Thai culture and Thai women, who have a deep-rooted tradition in passing on their skills and recipes to the next generation.

He seeks to serve his Peranakan heritage through a menu of refined taste and techniques, hence creating Candlenut’s authentic yet innovative Peranakan flavours.
