Mustard Seed’s Chef Gan Ming Kiat returns to Candlenut for a one-night only four-hands collaboration with Chef Malcolm Lee!
Two years under the tutelage of Chef Malcolm, Chef Ming mastered the art of making rempahs and curries, which are labour-intensive and time consuming. His meticulous approach to cooking is also evident from his experience working in an upmarket Japanese restaurant. Today, the 29-year-old chef is the proud owner of Mustard Seed, a weekend pop-up in his own dining room, where he serves local dishes in omakase style.
Expect a marriage of authentic Peranakan flavours with the uniquely Singaporean cuisine philosophies and inspirations from both chefs for a gastronomic dining experience unlike any!
